Yeo Scholarship Application

The Yeo Musical Theatre Scholarship honours the legacy of Talent Development Project’s previous Board Member Associate Professor Narelle Yeo.

Following an extensive international performing career across theatre, opera, and musical theatre in the USA and Australia, Narelle has remained deeply committed to nurturing the next generation of performers through tertiary music education and mentorship.

This $3,000 scholarship supports a young performer who has participated in any phase of the TDP Public Schools Program and is currently studying, or has studied, musical theatre at a tertiary institution in Australia. The scholarship will assist the recipient in undertaking further study and/or professional experiences overseas to support the development of their craft.

Applicants should demonstrate exceptional commitment, a strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for the performing arts, along with the potential for a sustained contribution to the industry. Following their overseas experience, the successful recipient will provide either a written or video report reflecting on their learning and artistic development.

Applications are open to previous students of the TDP Public School Program aged 18 to 25. The scholarship is open to Australian citizens and permanent residents only.

Applications close Friday 5 June 2026. Successful applicants will be notified in mid-June 2026.
