The Talent Development Project empowers exceptional young musicians to launch sustainable careers, offering world-class mentorship and training that would otherwise be out of reach. We build the skills, confidence, and artistry of musicians aged 13-25, amplifying the next generation of Australia’s performing arts talent.

Our work is delivered across three program streams which are delivered at Pier 2/3 in the world-class Walsh Bay Arts Precinct, Sydney:

Delivered in partnership with the NSW Department of Education, this flagship initiative provides free monthly intensive workshops in Sydney for students aged 13-18 from across NSW each year.

Supporting alumni of our Public Schools Program aged 18-25, this program bridges the gap between education and the industry through tailored mentoring, scholarships, career development, and employment opportunities.

In addition to our core programs, we offer multi-day intensive workshops during the school holidays which are open to all students.

As TDP continues to support and develop the creative and professional development of gifted young musicians, the safety and wellbeing of all students at TDP is our priority. TDP has in place robust child safety procedures in place, and we continue to review these regularly to ensure they are best practice.
