About Us
The Talent Development Project empowers exceptional young musicians to launch sustainable careers, offering world-class mentorship and training that would otherwise be out of reach. We build the skills, confidence, and artistry of musicians aged 13-25, amplifying the next generation of Australia’s performing arts talent.
Our work is delivered across three program streams which are delivered at Pier 2/3 in the world-class Walsh Bay Arts Precinct, Sydney:
1. The Public Schools Program
Delivered in partnership with the NSW Department of Education, this flagship initiative provides free monthly intensive workshops in Sydney for students aged 13-18 from across NSW each year. Find out more
2. The Alumni Pathways Program:
Supporting alumni of our Public Schools Program aged 18-25, this program bridges the gap between education and the industry through tailored mentoring, scholarships, career development, and employment opportunities. Find out more
3. Open Talent Workshops
In addition to our core programs, we offer multi-day intensive workshops during the school holidays which are open to all students. Find out more
Talent Development Project is a not-for-profit organisation and donations of $2 and over are fully tax deductible. Donate today to amplify extraordinary young musicians.
