The Mary Lopez Scholarship honours the legacy of Talent Development Project Co-Founder and Emeritus Artistic Director, Mary Lopez.

Mary’s unwavering belief in the talent and potential of young performers inspired her lifelong commitment to nurturing the next generation of artists. Over more than 35 years, she played a pivotal role in shaping countless careers across the Australian performing arts industry.

Today, her legacy continues through this annual scholarship which is awarded to one TDP alumnus in support of their ongoing career development and artistic aspirations.

Congratulations to the 2026 Mary Lopz Scholarship receipient Joshua Meader, who graduated from TDP in 2015.
